    Turkish share market closes Tuesday’s session with higher figures

    (MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index Borsa Istanbul witnessed a rise of 2.07 percent to close on Tuesday at 2,501.96 points.

    After opening the day at 2,449.40 points, BIST 100 index earned 50.69 points from the prior end of 2,451.27 points.

    The index’s worst value reached 2,448.03 points, whereas its day-to-day peak stood at 2,501.96 points.

    Throughout the day, 85 shares on the index saw an increase, while 14 dropped, and one remained unaffected in comparison with the prior end.

    The entire market worth of the BIST 100 was nearly 2 trillion Turkish liras (nearly USD114.3 billion) by market end, with a day-to-day exchange volume of 31.7 billion Turkish liras (around USD1.8 billion).

    One ounce of gold exchanged for $1,712.00 by market end, in line with data from Borsa Istanbul’s Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.

    Brent crude oil traded at nearly USD105.8 a barrel as of 6.00 AM regional time (1500GMT).
