    Turkey’s vehicle shipment almost at USD4.6B in Q1, Q2

    (MENAFN) In line with statistics by Uludag Automotive Industry Exporters' Association on Saturday Turkey’s car shipment amounted to almost USD4.6 billion in the in the first two quarter period as the nation traded automobiles to 97 nations, along with autonomous areas and free zones.

    In this span of time, the portion of passenger cars in the exports of the automotive business stood at 30.1 percent, surpassing USD4.59 billion.

    France, Turkey’s second major market in the automotive area, was at the top of the list of nations in the nation's car exports.

    In the stated period of the year, exports to France dropped by 30 percent to USD659 million against the same two quarters in 2021.

    The second nation in Turkey’s passenger car exports was the UK.

    In the stated two quarters period of 2021, USD395 million value of passenger vehicles were traded, whereas the number amounted to USD522.78 million in the span of time in 2022.

    Passenger car shipment to Spain, which are in the third spot, surged from USD405.86 million to reach USD456.7 million.
