TASI closes Sunday’s session in negative territory
(MENAFN) The Saudi benchmark index closed the week’s first exchange session in negative as financers remained to observe the market in keenness of gaining results.
TASI dropped down 0.11 percent to 11,975, whereas Nomu jumped 0.46 percent to 21,056.
Salama Cooperative Insurance Co. climbed 9.97 percent, topping the earners since the opening, whereas United Cooperative Assurance Co. fell 9.92 percent, topping the decliners.
Saudi Investment Bank earned 2.15 percent, following the announcement that it is going to allocate cash payments valued at SR300 million (USD80 million) for the January-June period of this year.
BinDawood Holding Co. jumped 0.83 percent, after announcing that it has started discussions with France’s TF1 Group to obtain a majority share in its subsidiary Ykone.
Saudi oil giant Aramco rose 0.13 percent, whereas Saudi National Bank, one of the Kingdom’s largest lenders, finished unaffected.
Saudi British Bank, which was elected the best bank this year, rose 0.71 percent, whereas the Kingdom’s biggest valued bank Al Rajhi gained 0.67 percent.
