    Iran’s 4-month non-oil shipments rise by 22 percent yearly

    (MENAFN) According to figures issued by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration, the value of Iran's non-oil exports hit USD17.24 billion in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-July 22), up 22 percent over the same time previous year (IRICA).

    IRIB stated that Iran exported 35.656 million tons of non-oil goods in the aforementioned four months based on the aforementioned statistics.

    During the same time, around 11.159 million tons of commodities worth USD17.24 billion were imported into the nation, representing a 17-percent increase in value over the same period the previous year.

    According to IRICA data, the Islamic Republic sold non-oil items worth USD34.48 billion or roughly 46.815 million tons with its trading partners in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year, an increase of 19 percent in value.

    China was Iran's largest import market during this time, receiving USD5.617 billion worth of Iranian goods, followed by Iraq (USD2.398 billion), the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which received over USD2.264 billion, Turkey (ISD2.06 billion), and India (USD567 million).
