    Iran ships USD567M value of commodities to India in 4 months

    (MENAFN) Iran shipped non-oil output worth USD567 million to India in the opening four months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-July 22), as shown by the data issued by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

    Iran has shipped in commodities valued at USD859 million from India in the stated period as well.

    In line with the IRICA data, India was Iran’s fifth exchange associate in the first four months of 2022.

    By the end of May, Iranian representative to India stated that Iran and India are working to expand the channels of payments to grow the two-sided exchange.

    In an exclusive meeting with economic Express Online, Ali Chegeni stated that “We are trying to diversify the channels of payments and accordingly wish to extend and expand an already existing mechanism in order to cover all of the goods and services including all of non – oil goods and to achieve this”.
