    Iran’s TPO, Mauritius’ EDB sign MOU to support economic ties

    (MENAFN) Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) and Mauritius’ Economic Development Board (EDB) has inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to collaborate on supporting financial trades among the two nations.

    As reported by the TPO portal, the MOU was inked on Sunday on the sidelines of an Iran-Mauritius business meeting hosted at the convention hall of Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds.

    The meeting was joined by senior representatives from the two nations such as Mauritius’ Minister of Labor, Human Resource Development and Training Soodesh Satkam Callichurn, Mining, and Trade Minister Mohammad-Sadeq Mofateh, Iran’s Deputy Industry, Iranian Chargé d'Affaires in Mauritius Hassan Ali Bakhshi, as well as Director-General of TPO’s Africa Office Mohammad-Sadeq Qanadzadeh.

    As mentioned in reports, some of the major targets of the stated MOU contained establishing a useful agenda for mutual collaboration among the two nations in several sectors, promotion of investment-making with a concentration on areas including engineering, agricultural processing, medicine, health care, ports as well as logistics, information and communication technology, construction, hoteling, education and breeding, industry and cinema, etc.
