    Saudi-Uzbek exchange surpasses USD95m in H1 of 2022

    (MENAFN) The bilateral exchange among Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Uzbekistan stood at USD95 million in the first six months of this year, a significant rise bearing in mind that mutual exchange barely reached USD17 million in 2021.

    As said by a mutual news statement, the amount is estimated to surge quickly by the end of this year, the figures assume impact in the aftermath of the epidemic.

    In fact, the figure of Uzbek firms running on Saudi capitals surged from nearly nine to 38 since 2017, whereas of the 38, 19 are individual proprietors, and the rest are dual projects.

    Both countries are going to bolster the relations more by inking 12 new deals on Wednesday and Thursday when Uzbekistan leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev take a trip to the Kingdom.

    In line with an Uzbek state agency, advanced discussions are going to be hosted in Jeddah, where the two nations are going to talk about chances to grow joint collaboration even more.

    The talks are going to concentrate on the green economy, technology as well as digitalization, innovations, small business in addition to entrepreneurship.
