    Iran’s exchange with EU surges 34 percent annually in H1

    (MENAFN) The worth of exchange among Iran and the European Union amounted to USD2.55 billion in the first half of this year, recording a 34 percent expansion in comparison with the prior year’s same span of time.

    According to IRNA report, as shown by the figures issued by the European Union's statistics office, Eurostat, the exchange among Iran and the European Union was at USD1.9 billion in the first 6 months of last year.

    Iran shipped commodities valued at USD550 million to the union throughout first half period of this year to record a 37 percent surge year on year, the number reached USD400 million in the prior year’s same six months.

    According to the stated data, the shipment from Europe to the Islamic Republic in the stated period jumped 33 percent as well, standing at USD2 billion.

    Iran had shipped in USD1.5 billion value of goods from the European Union states in January-June period of last year.
