    TEDPIX falls 12,500 points on Saturday

    (MENAFN) TEDPIX, the key index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), went down by 12,592 points to 1.438 million on Saturday.

    More than 6.251 billion securities at 32.429 trillion rials (about USD115.817 million) were dealt at the TSE.

    The first market’s index fell 10,406 points, and the second market’s index declined 21,805 points.
    TEDPIX went up by 20,931 points (0.2 percent) in the previous Iranian calendar week, which ended on Friday.

    As stated, 40.58 billion securities of 228.555 trillion rials (about USD816.267 million) were dealt through 1.874 agreements at the TSE in the last week.

    The figure and value of dealt securities increased 30 percent and 34 percent, one-to-one, while the amount of agreements rose 114 percent in the past week from the previous week.

    TSE is one of the four Iranian share exchanges, the other three ones are Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), and Iran’s over-the-counter (OTC) market, known as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB).
