    Tatarstan, Iran meet to grow exchange ties

    (MENAFN) Tatarstan’s Deputy Premier and Minister of Industry and Trade Korobchenko Oleg Vladimirovich stated that the Republic of Tatarstan is determined to grow exchange ties with Iran and also play role in the International North South Corridor (INSTC).

    The official, who is taking a trip Iran on the top of a delegation, made the comments in a gathering with Iranian Deputy Transport and Urban Development Minister Shahriyar Afandizadeh in Iran’s capital on Tuesday.

    Reffering to the gathering, Afandizadeh explained on the transportation status of Iran and the nation’s capabilities in different transportation areas, and expounded upon the details of the deals established among Iran and Russia in the thirteenth conference of the two nations’ transportation committee for developing transit relations.

    The Minister of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, for his part, declared that the establishment of logistics centers in Tatarstan with the intention of rising exchange with Iran via the North-South Corridor and Caspian Sea, expressing Tatarstan’s wish to be present and play a part in the North-South Corridor.
