TASI opens week with decreases
(MENAFN) Saudi shares had a horrible opening to the week as the gains season ended with mixed outcomes, keeping financiers on edge.
The Tadawul All Share Index started the week 0.94 percent less at 12,473, whereas the similar Nomu edged 0.1 percent lower at 21,608, at 10:08 AM Saudi time.
Oil giant Saudi Aramco opened the session with a 0.89 percent decrease, whereas Al Rajhi, the Nation’s biggest valued bank, dropped 0.98 percent.
The share price of Alinma Bank fell 0.78 percent, whereas the Saudi British Bank was down by 1.31 percent.
The Saudi National Bank, the kingdom’s largest lender, fell 1.40 percent, as it declared the commencement of its additional riyal-denominated sukuk supply on Aug. 28.
Alhokair Group’s shares dropped 2.24 percent, in spite of managing to reduce down its losses by 49 percent throughout the first 6 months of this year.
Emaar The Economic City fell 2.41 percent, after decreases extended by 10 percent in the opening half of this year.
