    Iran, Japan to establish new prospects for car industry cooperation

    (MENAFN) Given the harmonious and pleasant ties ongoing among Iranian and Japanese automakers, Japanese envoy to the Islamic Republic of Iran Kazutoshi Aikawa stated that if restrictions are lifted, new prospects are going to be established for collaboration among Iran and Japan in car sector.

    Stating in his trip to the Auto Industry Development Exhibition in the capital of Iran, he noted that he comfortable with the noticeable development and improvements created in Iranian market, mainly in its auto industry.

    He then noted to the manufacturing of electric automobiles and new pickups which were presented at the exhibition and appreciated salient measures taken by Iranian automakers in this sector.

    Elsewhere in his comments, the Japanese ambassador labelled Iran’s market ‘profitable and lucrative’ and stated that there are several chances for all automakers of the world in the Iranian car market which is very encouraging.

    Speaking about the restrictions forced upon Iran, Aikawa stated that if restrictions forced against Iran are lifted, new prospects are going to be opened for the Iranian automakers.
