    Iran’s TPO hosts workshop to grow exchange cooperation with Africa

    (MENAFN) Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) hosted a workshop on the growth of financial collaboration among the Islamic Republic of Iran and Africa, on Saturday, throughout which the attendees discovered methods of growing financial collaboration among Iran and East African nations mainly Uganda, Tanzania, in addition to Kenya.

    The event was joined by senior officials from Iran and the stated African nations, together with Director-General of TPO’s Africa Office Mohammad-Sadeq Qanadzadeh, Uganda’s Ambassador to Iran Muhammad Tezikuba Kisambira, Kenya’s Ambassador to Tehran Joshua Gatimu, as well as Iran’s Ambassador to Nairobi Jafar Barmaki.

    Stating at the workshop, Qanadzadeh mentioned that supporting cultural awareness, informing, as well as establishing infrastructure are between the highest missions of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran to create more financial and trade interactions among Iran and the target nations in Africa.

    Qanadzadeh stated that “In order to better inform the businessmen of our country about the trade situation in target countries, we have already held several conferences.”
