    Iran’s Kerman province ships products valued at almost USD177M in 5 months

    (MENAFN) As declared by a provincial official, 118,310 tons of non-oil commodities worth USD176.983 million were shipped from Kerman district in the opening five months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-August 22).

    Mohammad Samarrokhi, the current chief of the province’s customs department, stated that shipment from the region has dropped in the stated period of this year from that of the last year.

    He also stated that 49,933 tons of goods valued at USD988.214 million were shipped in to the region in the same five months of this year, showing 400 percent and 80 percent expansion in terms of value and mass, individually, on a yearly basis.

    As earlier declared by the chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the worth of Iran’s non-oil shipments amounted to USD20.924 billion in the opening five months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year, surging 21 percent in comparison to the same period in the previous year.
