    Turkish Airlines becomes official sponsor for UEFA Champions League

    (MENAFN) Turkish Airlines confirmed on Monday that it is going to become a certified sponsor of the UEFA Champions League.

    Pointing out that the final match is going to be hosted on the 10th of June next year at the Istanbul Ataturk Olympic Stadium, the Turkish flag carrier stated that the "prestigious" collaboration is one of the most significant sponsorships in Turkish sports history.

    As part of the deal, Turkish Airlines' logo is going to be displayed on several pitches as well as LED screens before, throughout and after the match broadcast.

    The carrier is going to also be the main sponsor of the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Futsal Champions League, as well as UEFA Youth League finals.

    Earlier, Turkish Airlines became the initial airline firm in the world to collaborate with UEFA with its official airline sponsorship in Euro 2016.

    The flag carrier has sponsored several sports teams including Barcelona, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Olympique Marseille, as well as River Plate.
