    Saudi Arabia’s stock market witnesses +300,000 investors withdraw in Q2

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s benchmark share exchange saw a decline of 312,907 in the amount of listed stockholders at the end of the April-June period of this year.

    An amount of 85,343 female investors withdrawn their investments, taking the amount of female contributing in the bourse to 1.49 million, as shown by statistics by the Capital Market Authority.

    Likewise, the amount of men stockholders decreased by almost 227,564 to stand at 4.18 million, compared to 4.41 million in the January-March period of 2022.

    In spite of the consecutive fall, the data showed that further female traders participated in the nation’s share market in the April-June period in comparison with 1.42 million in the same quarter in 2021.

    The overall figure of individuals with ownership in the Saudi share market stood at 5.67 million by the end of the stated quarter, whereas the amount of portfolios held jumped to 10.8 million against 10.1 million in the previous 3 months.
