    TASI closes Monday’s session jumping back to 12000-point rate due to oil prices regaining

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s benchmark index came back to the 12000-point rate on the back of a regain in crude oil costs.

    The Tadawul All Share Index earned 0.68 percent to close Monday’s session at 12,022, whereas the similar market Nomu was 0.78 percent higher to end at 20,899.

    This was caused by a 2.07 percent jump in the nation’s biggest esteemed bank Al Rajhi and a 1.34 percent surge in the nation’s largest lender the Saudi National Bank.

    Stocks of Saudi Aramco, the biggest player on the Saudi oil market, tipped 0.4 percent higher, whereas Saudi Chemical Co. jumped 6.74 percent.

    Alinma Bank gained 2.02 percent, whereas Saudi Arabian Mining Co., identified as Ma'aden, added 2.13 percent.

    Tihama Advertising and Public Relations Co. climbed 7.49 percent to top the earners, whereas Lazurde Co. for Jewelry declined 3.43 percent, topping the fallers, in spite of topping the earners in previous sessions.

    In energy trading, Brent crude futures stood at USD93.68 per barrel, whereas US West Texas Intermediate exchanged at USD87.42 per barrel, at 3:23 PM Saudi time.
