    Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul ends Monday’s session with new peak

    (MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index closed Monday at an all-time high of 3,649.21 points, surging by 3.6 percent from last week's end.

    Opening the week at 3,585.63 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 127.82 points from the prior end.

    The overall market value of the BIST 100 was about 3 trillion Turkish liras (USD161 billion) by market end, with a day-to-day exchange capacity of 117.5 billion Turkish liras (USD6.4 billion).

    Throughout the day, 85 shares on the index surged, 14 dropped, and one stayed unaffected in comparison with the prior end.

    International main Brent crude sold at USD92.29 a barrel at 10.03 AM regional time (0703 GMT) for a 0.59 percent decline from the ending price of USD92.84 per barrel in the prior exchange session.

    American main West Texas Intermediate (WTI) exchanged at USD86.11 a barrel at the same time for a 0.78 percent decline after the prior session ended at USD86.79 per barrel.
