    SCI: Iran’s non-oil GDP surges 4.3 percent in Q1

    (MENAFN) Iran's gross domestic product (GDP) apart from oil surged 4.3 percent in the opening 3 months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21 – June 21) in comparison with the same time span past year as shown by the Statistical Center of Iran (SCI).

    In line with SCI data, the number counting in oil surged 3.8 percent, as reported by IRIB.

    The SCI put the average inflation level in the three-month time span at 40 percent, estimating the number to amount to 30 percent by the end of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2023).

    Back in June, SCI had put the nation’s GDP expansion at 4.3 percent including oil, and at 3.5 percent apart from oil in the past year.

    According to reports by the center, in line with the fixed prices in the Iranian year 1390 (ended on March 19, 2012), the nation’s GDP reached 7.569 quadrillion rials (nearly USD26.28 billion) including the oil filed, and at 6.511 quadrillion rials (around USD22.6 billion) apart from the oil area in the last year, whereas the numbers were 7.254 quadrillion rials (nearly USD25.18 billion) and 6.289 quadrillion rials (around USD21.83 billion), individually, in 1399.
