    Iran’s shipment to China surges 14 percent January-August

    (MENAFN) As shown by the figures issued by China’s customs government, the worth of Iran’s non-oil shipments to China stood at USD4.946 billion in the opening eight months of this year, recording a 14 percent surge on a yearly basis.

    The Islamic Republic had shipped USD4.344 billion value of commodities to China in the same period last year.

    In line with the stated data, Iran and China exchanged USD11.16 billion value of goods in the stated eight months to record a 19 percent rise in comparison with USD9.344 billion in the same eight months last year.

    China's shipment to Iran in the opening eight months of this year also surged by 24 percent in comparison with the year before to strand at USD6.214 billion, while the Asian nation had shipped USD5 billion value of goods to Iran in the same eight months of the prior year.

    Iran-China non-oil exchange reached USD14.8 billion last year, as said by China’s customs administration.
