    Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul rising at Tuesday's end

    (MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index closed Tuesday at 3,265.64 points, saw a rise of 0.17 percent or 5.49 points from Monday's end.

    The index's lowest value throughout the day stood at 3,256.46, points, whereas its day to day peak reached 3,319.14 points.

    The overall market value of the BIST 100 was nearly 2.6 trillion Turkish liras (USD142 billion) by market end, with a day to day exchange volume of 63.1 billion Turkish liras (USD3.4 billion).

    Throughout the day, 37 shares on the index surged, 61 dropped and two remained unaffected in comparison with the prior finish.

    Oil costs regained on Tuesday, after declining nearly 4 percent in the prior exchange, as new supply-side doubts coupled with estimated provisions reduces by OPEC producers outshined a strong dollar, which discourages financiers from purchasing dollar-indexed oil.

    International main Brent crude exchanged at USD86.85 a barrel, whereas the price of an ounce of gold stood at USD1,654.10.
