    Tehran witnesses 40.9 percent surge in Housing rental price

    (MENAFN) Central Bank of Iran (CBI) has declared that the rental cost has surged 40.9 percent in Tehran city throughout the sixth Iranian calendar month Shahrivar (ended on September 22), in comparison with the same month in the last year.

    As shown by the CBI, the average housing cost in Tehran in the stated month jumped 36.3 percent as well compared to the same time span in the last year, as well as 1.1 percent in comparison with the fifth month.

    Housing prices in Iran have been continuously surging throughout the last three years because of several internal as well as external aspects.

    While, in early May, the chairman of Real Estate Agencies Union stated that “This year is the year of lower housing prices; this condition will continue in the country for the next two years, and we will see a continuous decrease in housing prices”.
