TASI closes Sunday with decreases due decelerating worldwide economy
(MENAFN) The Saudi benchmark index ended its opening session of the week with decreases due to a decelerating worldwide economy, which continue to be a cause of worries.
The Tadawul All Share Index dropped 1.63 percent to close Sunday at 11,566, whereas the similar market Nomu fell 1.39 percent to stand at 19,941.
Saudi oil giant Aramco closed the session unaffected, whereas Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. dipped down 1.85 percent.
The Saudi National Bank, the Kingdom’s biggest lender, declined 0.46 percent, whereas Saudi British Bank lost 0.25 percent.
The Kingdom’s most highly esteemed bank Al Rajhi decreased by 2.14 percent, whereas Alinma Bank was 2.25 percent lower.
Almarai Co. dipped 4.15 percent, in spite of its net revenue surging 10 percent on a yearly basis to SR1.4 billion (USD372 million) in the July-September period of 2022.
Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Services Group Co. dropped 2.95 percent, after the appointment of Faisal Al Nassar as acting chief executive following Nasser Al-Huqbani resignation.
