    Iran reaches agreement with 5 Central Asian nations in transit co-op

    (MENAFN) At the end of a two-day conference on transit collaboration among Iran and five Central Asian nations which are Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, as well as Kyrgyzstan, a collaboration document was inked by the nations on Sunday, IRNA mentioned in a report.

    As the chair of the stated conference, Iranian Transport and Urban Development Minister Rostam Qasemi inked the stated document in line with senior representatives from the stated nations.

    As stated by Qasemi, the twice-a-year meeting is going to be hosted every half a year from this day forward.

    After inking the document, the minister informed the press that the member nations of this conference have gotten an understanding on the improvement of transit collaboration, the unification of transit tariffs, as well as the issuance of one-year visas for transit drivers below the outline of the mentioned document.

    The initial meeting on transit collaboration among Iran as well as five Central Asian nations started in Tehran on Saturday and ended on Sunday.
