Qatar’s building permits reach 884 after 13 percent surge in September
(MENAFN) The amount of building permits released last month by municipalities in Qatar has surged by 13 percent to 884 from 784 permits released in the prior month (August 2022), figures shown by the Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) indicated.
The PSA in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipality issued the 93rd permit of the month-on-month Statistics of Building Permits as well as Building completion permits released by every town in the nation.
As shown by their geographical distribution, the municipality of Al Rayyan was at the top of the list of towns with 250 building permits released (28 percent of overall released permits), whereas the town of Al Doha was in the second spot with 227 permits (26 percent), then came the municipalities of Al Wakrah with 164 permits (19 percent), as well as Al Da’ayen with 116 permits (13 percent). The rest of the towns in order were: Umm Slal 51 permits (6 percent), Al Khor 40 permits (5 percent), Al Sheehaniya 20 permits (2 percent), and lastly Al Shammal 16 permits (2 percent).
