Saudi crown prince aims to drive growth, rise workshops by 2035

(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday started the National Industrial Strategy, which targets to surge expansion in the industry and rise the amount of workshops to nearly 36,000 in 13 years (2035), the nation’s state news agency mentioned in a report.

The plan also targets to reach an industrial economy that collects financing and funds to reach financial expansion, improving local output and non-oil shipments, along with the targets of the “Saudi Vision 2030”.

SPA recited the crown prince as stating that “We have all the capabilities to reach a competitive and sustainable industrial economy, including ambitious young talents, a distinguished geographical location, rich natural resources, and leading national industrial companies.”

“Through the national industry strategy and in partnership with the private sector, the Kingdom will become a leading industrial power that contributes to securing global supply chains, and exporting high-tech products to the world,” he also mentioned.
