Turkey, Algeria seek to reinforce cooperation in all sectors mainly energy, natural gas
(MENAFN) Turkey seeks to reinforce its collaboration with Algeria in all sectors, mainly in energy and natural gas, the Turkish leader informed the Algerian leader on Wednesday.
In a phone call with Algerian leader Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Recep Tayyip Erdogan “expressed his pleasure over the exceptional level the relations between the two brotherly countries have reached as a result of joint efforts,” as said by the Turkish Communications Directorate.
They also talked about ties among their nations on top of other regional problems.
Erdogan also showed gratitude for Tebboune for his “sincere steps” in the battle versus the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO).
FETO and its US-based president Fetullah Gulen where in charge of the lost coup attempt 6 years ago (July 15, 2016), where 251 citizens were lost in addition to 2,734 wounded.
Ankara blames FETO of being in charge of a long-running movement to make a coup against the state via the infiltration of Turkish institutions, mainly the military, police as well as judiciary.
