Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul hits new record peak on Monday’s end

(MENAFN) Turkey’s main share index closed Monday’s session at a fresh record peak of 3,977.51 points, after seeing an increase of 1.09 percent, or 42.89 points, in comparison with the prior end.

Throughout the afternoon meeting, BIST 100 surpassed 4,000 points for the initial time.

Stockholders' request for Turkish shares jumped with equity looked at as a hedge in contradiction of increasing consumer costs.

The index’s worst value throughout the session stood at 3,939.73 points, whereas its day to day peak stood at 4,008.80.

The overall market value of the BIST 100 was nearly 3.1 trillion Turkish liras (USD170 billion) by market end, with a day to day exchange volume of 76.8 billion Turkish liras (nearly USD4.1 billion).

Oil prices dropped on Monday as shareholders worries from feeble oil request and a worldwide financial slump as an outcome of disappointing oil import data from China.

Worldwide main Brent crude exchanged at USD92.84 a barrel.
