    Kremlin: TurkStream gas pipeline has high possibility for growth

    (MENAFN) The TurkStream gas pipeline is one of the largest energy shipments systems across the whole world and has high potential for growth, the Kremlin stated on Tuesday.

    "Türkiye is currently one of the largest recipients of Russian gas, and we are now connected with Türkiye by one of the largest gas pipeline systems, TurkStream, which has serious potential for expansion if necessary," representative Dmitry Peskov informed journalists in the capital of Russia, Moscow.

    Peskov stated that problems of energy collaboration were discussed at the top rate among the two nations and that there were also continues talks at the working level.

    Pointing out that Russian Leader Vladimir Putin and his Turkish fellow Recep Tayyip Erdogan have both underlined interest in building a gas center in Türkiye, Peskov mentioned that the details of the venture were being resolved.

    A vital role of the problem is associated to the sale of gas, with the future of the venture to become strong once it is established, he stated.
