    Iran’s crude steel production increases 9.8 percent in January-September

    (MENAFN) Manufacture of crude steel in Iran jumped 9.8 percent in the January-September period of this year, in contrast with the same span of time in the last year, as shown by the most recent report issued by the World Steel Association (WSA).

    The WSA data put the nation’s nine-month crude steel output at 22.2 million tons, according to what was reported by IRNA.

    The report indicates that Iran’s crude steel production has also climbed 26.7 percent last month in comparison with the same month last year, standing at 2.7 million tons.

    The glob’s 64 steel manufacture achieved to manufacture 1,405,200,000 tons of steel in the first 9 months of this year, 4.3 percent lower than the number for the prior year’s same months.

    In the meantime, the world’s highest steel-producing nations outputted 151.7 million tons of crude steel last months to record a jump of 3.7 percent in comparison with the same month in 2021.
