Turkey peruses KSA for extra collaboration to become energy center to Europe

(MENAFN) Turkey is looking for extra collaboration with Saudi Arabia and more nations as it prepares to be an energy center to Europe, as stated by its finance minister.

“Turkey from its geographical position is an energy corridor from Russia, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. Any kind of natural gas or oil that is going to be transported or shipped, will cost less and will be more safely shipped,” Nureddin Nebati informed Arab News in a meeting.

While giving a speech on the offshoots of the 6th edition of Future Investment Initiative meeting in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, the minister didn’t explain more on how the two nations could collaborate but asserted that peace in the area is going to bring energy prices lower.

“Turkey and Saudi Arabia are also assisting each other, which will bring peace in the region. That peace will bring more affordable gas prices, the energy prices, and will allow both countries to look ahead,” he also mentioned.
