    Turkey, Albania to sign agreements at upcoming advanced strategic co-op council

    (MENAFN) Turkey and Albania are set to ink several deals at the future advanced tactical collaboration council gathering, the Turkish foreign minister stated that on Tuesday.

    While giving a speech at a mutual news meeting with his Albanian fellow Olta Xhacka, Mevlut Cavusoglu praised robust relations among the two nations whereas mentioning that they have talked about the upcoming advanced strategic collaboration council gathering.

    Without giving a date for the council's gathering, Cavusoglu stated that they have done discussions on some deals to be inked at the gathering whereas they are still negotiating others.

    Renewable energy, transportation networks, defense industry, cyber security, health, as well as agriculture are between the subjects to be discussed at the council's gathering, as said by the Turkish minister.

    On two-sided exchange capacity, Cavusoglu mentioned that Turkey estimates it to surpass USD1 billion this year when looking at "the numbers from the first eight months of this year."

    He also expressed eagerness to host mutual Economic Commission, which was hosted in 2020.

    he continued: "As Türkiye, we are number one in Albania with the investments we have done in the country."
