    Israel, Bahrain seek to ink free trade agreement before 2023

    (MENAFN) Israel and Bahrain accepted on Monday to look for inking a free trade deal among the two nations by the end of the year.

    This came throughout a gathering among Israeli Economy Minister Orna Barbivai as well as Bahraini Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed Alzayani in Israel, as stated by the Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.

    The two ministers accepted to make the procedure quicker with the aim of reaching the inking of a free trade deal before 2023, the daily stated.

    An Israeli representative is anticipated to reach in the Bahraini capital, Manama, in mid-November to finish the discussions on the free trade agreement.

    Alzayani's set to take a trip to Israel which is the third since both nations regularized their ties in September two years ago.

    Last year, the exchange capacity among Israel and Bahrain reached USD7.5 million.

    In May, Israel inked a free trade deal with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to grow financial ties among both nations.
