    Iran’s shipments to US surge 18 folds in first 9 months YoY

    (MENAFN) The worth of Iran’s shipments to the United States surged by 18 folds in the opening nine months of 2022 from the same time span in the year before, as reported by IRIB.

    According to the figures issued by the United States Census Bureau, the U.S. shipped goods valued at USD10.9 million from Iran in the opening nine months of 2022, whereas the number was just USD600,000 in the same time span in the last year.

    As shown by the stated figures, both nations exchanged USD42.2 million value of commodities in the stated nine months which stood at 42 percent higher than the number in the opening nine months of the last year when the exchange among the two nations reached USD29.9 million.

    The United States Census Bureau’s data indicates that the worth of U.S. shipment to Iran surged seven percent to USD31.3 million in the nine-month time span of 2022, from USD29.3 million in the same period of the prior year.
