    Iran begins National Housing Movement to construct 4 million housing unites

    (MENAFN) National Housing Movement to build four million residential units within four years is one of the main procedures of the ongoing administration in the housing field.

    As shown by the program, between these four million residential units, 3.2 million units are going to be built in cities while the other 800,000 units will be in villages, some of these units are right now being built after supplying lands as well as arranging the needed conditions.

    On Sunday, Hadi Abbasi-Asl, the deputy minister of transport and urban development, confirmed that right now, more than one million units of the National Housing Movement are being constructed with average growth of nearly 30 percent.

    Following the National Housing Action Plan (which began 4 years ago), National Housing Action is the government’s second main plan to supply reasonable priced housing units for the low-revenue classes.

    The operation for the building of 209,212 housing units of the National Housing Movement started at the beginning of February.
