Qatar to grow financial relations with United States
(MENAFN) The US and Qatar’s commercial relations has remained to surge with the overall financial ties among the two nation’s surpassing USD200B and the two countries keen to grow exchange as well as investment relations, as shown by the US-Qatar Business Council (USQBC) report issued lately to spot 50 years of cooperation among Qatar as well as the United States.
Qatar’s political stability, state-of-the-art infrastructure, steady currency and decreased corporate tax levels have triggered higher US FDI flows, the report showed.
With more than 850 US firms operating their businesses in Qatar, the United States has established a strong exchange connection with the nation as well as is its biggest foreign investor. Both nations exchange more than USD6.3bn dollars in goods on an annual basis.
The US is the biggest single source of shipments to Qatar, with USD6.5 billion recorded 3 years ago. The same year, Qatar stood at as the US’ 37th biggest goods shipment market.
