Oman, Iran finalizing plan to ease economic exchange
(MENAFN) Oman’s Deputy Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Saleh bin Said Masan has declared that Iran and Oman are finishing a mechanism for easing economic trades among the two nations.
Saleh bin Said Masan made the declaration in a gathering with Chief of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Gholam-Hossein Shafeie, the ICCIMA portal mentioned in a report.
The Omani deputy minister stated that the two nations, on the other hand, are still dealing with some issues in trade exchanges, also mentioning that the central banks of the two nations have presented different solutions to these obstacles.
Talking about a memorandum of understanding inked among both nations on exchange partnership and customs services, the Omani minister noted that technical teams from the two Iran as well as Oman are working to take the deals into effect.
Elsewhere in this gathering, Shafeie noted that the massive volumes for the growth of exchange among Iran and Oman, stating that “Although the volume of trade between Iran and Oman grew almost 50 percent to nearly USD1.5 billion this year, there are still far more untapped capacities for trade cooperation.”
