    GASTAT: Saudi Arabia’s oil shipments worth surges 11.8 percent in November last year

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s oil shipment worth jumped by 11.8 percent to reach SR9.5 billion (USD2.53 billion) in November last year, in comparison with the same month last year, as shown by the most recent figures issued by the General Authority for Statistics.

    According to the report, GASTAT pointed out that the nation’s total merchandise shipments rose 3.6 percent on a yearly basis in November last year.

    The overall worth of total merchandise shipment in November last year reached SR12.8 billion, increasing from SR108.8 billion in the same month of the last year.

    “The share of oil exports in total exports increased from 74.0 percent in November 2021 to 79.8 percent in November 2022,” based on GASTAT in the report.

    In line with the report, Saudi Arabia’s non-oil shipments including re-exports declined by 19.7 percent to SR22.7 billion in the stated period, in comparison with the same month the year before.

    The GASTAT report additionally noted that the nation’s non-oil shipments apart from re-exports also fell by 18 percent on a yearly basis in November 2022.
