Iranian bank loans to financial industries rise around 42 percent
(MENAFN) Iranian banking system has compensated 29.79 quadrillion rials (more than USD78.2 billion) of services to local financial industries in the opening nine months of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-December 21, 2022), recording a 41.9 percent surge from the same time span in the prior year.
As shown by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), more than 84 percent of the stated services have been supplied to owners of businesses and the remaining have been compensated to natural persons, IRIB mentioned in a report.
According to reports, 75.3 percent of the overall services compensated to the possessors of businesses have been in the method of working capital loans.
Throughout the stated time span, businesses operating in the mining and industry area raised more than 6.93 quadrillion rials (around USD18.215 billion) in the form of working capital loans, amounting to 36.8 percent of the overall services.
During the last three years, CBI has been cooperating with the sector, Mining, and exchange Ministry for applying a program according to which bank facilities are supplied to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as semi-finished ventures.
