Tadawul All Share Index closes Sunday’s session 55 points lower
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s Tadawul All Share Index on Sunday saw a decrease of 55.28 points — or 0.52 percent — to end standing at 10,493.17.
Whereas MSCI Tadawul 30 Index saw a decline of 0.53 percent to reach 1,436.68, the similar market Nomu jumped 0.59 percent to stand at 19,371.57.
TASI’s overall exchange turnover of the main index was SR3.18 billion (USD850 million) as 52 shares of the listed 224 increased and 157 decreased.
Between sectoral indices, 13 of the 21 registered on the share exchange climbed while the rest saw a fall.
The Food & Staples Retailing Index went lower as the worst-performing industries as five of its six constituents dropped, closing 226 points down to stand at 9,209.35
Alamar Foods Co. was the poorest performer on Sunday as its stock price plummeted 5.04 percent to stand at SR154.40.
National Co. for Learning and Education, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. and Al Gassim Investment Holding Co. lost around 4 percent to reach SR82.40, SR62.30 and SR24.80, individually.
