Jordan, US exchange balance reaches USD881m surplus last year
(MENAFN) The exchange balance among Jordan and the US has registered an exceed of around 625 million Jordanian dinars (USD881 million) this year, in line with an announcement.
The capacity of trade exchange among the two nations in 2022 reached an amount of around 2.75 billion dinars, as shown by foreign exchange data released by the Department of Statistics in Jordan. Additionally, the worth of shipment from Jordan to the US has jumped during the last year, to around 1.685 billion dinars.
This number reflects a 6.2 percent rise when put in contrast to nearly 1.586 billion dinars in the year before.
Likewise, the worth of Jordan's imports from the US also rose last year by 7.3 percent, to around 1.060 billion dinars, in comparison with 988 million dinars in 2021.
The free exchange deal among Jordan and the US went into full action in January 2010, and supplies for exemption from customs responsibilities for Jordanian shipments in an effort to surge trade exchange among the two nations.
