    Bahrain’s shipments fall 8 percent to USD941m last month

    (MENAFN) Bahrain has witnessed its shipments trade fall to under USD 1 billion, with the worth of outputs of national origin decreasing by 8 percent to USD941 million in January this year, in line with the most recent data issued by the Information &eGovernment Authority.

    With USD236 million value of shipments to Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom ranked top between the nations receiving outputs of Bahraini national origin in January, shadowed by the US and the UAE which imported goods valued at USD119 million as well as USD95 million, individually.

    In terms of the type of goods, iGA figures indicated that unwrought aluminum alloys with a USD352 million worth were the highest outputs shipped throughout the month of January.

    It was shadowed by iron ores and concentrate alloyed with a total worth of USD127 million. The third output was aluminum wire not alloyed with USD45 million value of shipment last month.
