    Saudi venture capital company Emkan Capital raises USD31m in tech investments

    (MENAFN) Saudi-based venture capital company Emkan Capital has started a fund worth at USD31 million for early-phase tech startups via the areas.

    The fund, labeled Emkan Capital Fund I, raised its investment from institutions and businesses across the globe with a third of the capital was raised from associates located in Silicon Valley.

    The capital is going to be directed at pre-seed as well as seed startups in technology industries such as fintech, e-commerce, logistics, artificial intelligence, cyber, cloud, as well as health tech.

    “We are excited to launch such an important fund, which will help bridge the knowledge and funding gap that is stifling many founders’ ambitions and limiting growth opportunities,” as stated by Ghassan Aloshban, general partner at Emkan Capital.
