Saudi Arabia to launch Middle East’s first luxury train in efforts to boost tourism sector
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Italy’s Arsenale Group to develop the Middle East’s first luxury train. The move is part of Saudi Arabia's efforts to boost its tourism sector in line with the goals of the Vision 2030 reform plan, which aims to diversify the country's economy away from its reliance on fossil fuels. The agreement was signed by SAR’s chief executive officer, Bashar Al-Malik, and Arsenale Group chairman, Paolo Barletta.
The luxury train is expected to provide a unique new way for domestic and international tourists to explore Saudi Arabia's attractions. The train will offer a luxury experience that has not been seen before in the Middle East. The aim is to provide a high-end service that will attract visitors from around the world and help to showcase the country's rich history and culture. The train will be designed to offer a comfortable and luxurious way to travel to some of Saudi Arabia's most popular tourist destinations.
The partnership between SAR and the Arsenale Group is a significant step towards achieving the objectives set out in the Vision 2030 reform plan. The plan aims to boost the country's tourism sector and create new opportunities for investment and job creation. The launch of the luxury train is part of a wider strategy to attract more visitors to the country and promote tourism as a key driver of economic growth.
The agreement with the Arsenale Group is a significant milestone for SAR, as it marks the first time the company has partnered with an international firm to develop a luxury train. The partnership will bring together the expertise of both companies to provide a unique and innovative service that will help to put Saudi Arabia on the map as a top tourist destination.
The launch of the luxury train is expected to have a significant impact on Saudi Arabia's tourism sector, providing a boost to the country's economy and creating new job opportunities. The train will offer a unique and luxurious experience that will be unmatched in the Middle East, providing a new way for visitors to explore the country's rich cultural heritage and natural beauty. Overall, the launch of the luxury train is a major step forward for Saudi Arabia's tourism sector, and a significant achievement for SAR and the Arsenale Group.
