    NIOC Emphasizes Efforts to Increase Oil, Gas Production

    (MENAFN) The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) is working hard to increase its production of oil and gas in line with the slogan of the current Iranian calendar year, which is "Inflation Control and Production Growth." This was emphasized by NIOC Managing Director Mohsen Khojasteh-Mehr, who stated that the company is committed to providing the best performance in the production growth sector.

    Khojasteh-Mehr highlighted that increasing production in the oil and gas sector was a serious priority during the activity of the Ministry of Oil in the 13th government, and that the sector put this strategic goal on the agenda with all power, following the orders of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. He further explained that the increase in production occurs when components such as technology, investment, and work processes are taken into consideration.

    The NIOC managing director emphasized that the company has all the power and facilities for the development of oil and gas fields, especially joint fields. He also stressed the importance of maximum use of internal power in projects and benefiting from the power and expertise of knowledge-based companies to realize a knowledge-oriented and Iranian-oriented oil industry.
