Red Sea Global Partners with Rosewood to Launch Sustainable Wellness Destination AMAALA
(MENAFN) Red Sea Global (RSG), a Saudi construction firm, has teamed up with Rosewood Hotel & Resorts to manage a 110-key hotel at its upcoming integrated wellness destination, AMAALA. The property, named Rosewood AMAALA, will also feature 25 residences and aim to explore what it truly means to be regenerative while offering unique experiences that weave together wellness and sustainability. Sonia Cheng, CEO at Rosewood Hotel Group, stated that Rosewood's values of prioritizing both people and planet through impactful offerings connect seamlessly with the development's larger vision.
Rosewood AMAALA will be situated amidst the world's fourth-largest reef and the scenic Hijazi mountains, and RSG aims to protect the environment and enhance the natural ecosystems. John Pagano, Group CEO of RSG, stated that Rosewood AMAALA has been meticulously designed to seamlessly integrate indoor and outdoor living while offering guests a level of privacy and exclusivity often found in an all-villa resort.
The property's overall design will be based on sustainability, and the larger AMAALA development has set meaningful targets for zero impact. The entire destination will be powered by 100 percent renewable energy and will strive for a zero-carbon footprint and zero waste to landfill. The project aims to create a sustainable oasis by focusing on preserving the natural environment and enhancing the well-being of visitors.
Rosewood AMAALA is part of AMAALA, an integrated wellness destination that aims to redefine ultra-luxury tourism. Located along the northwestern coast of Saudi Arabia, AMAALA is set to become a leading destination for wellness, art, and culture. The development will feature three communities: Triple Bay, The Island, and The Coastal Development. The communities will feature luxury hotels, private villas, art galleries, and museums, among other amenities. AMAALA aims to create a new era of sustainable tourism by offering unique experiences that prioritize both the well-being of visitors and the natural environment.
