TEDPIX closes Saturday’s session over 23,000 points lower

(MENAFN) TEDPIX, the benchmark index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), fell by 23,324 points to reach 2.298 million on Saturday.

According to reports, more than 13.683 billion securities valued 108.319 trillion rials (around USD216.63 million) were exchanged at the TSE.

TSE is one of the four Iranian stock markets, and the most vital one. The additional three ones are Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), as well as Iran’s over-the-counter (OTC) market, recognized as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB).

The stock market transactions in the last Iranian calendar year 1401 (which closed on March 20) went via volatile sessions, which in line with forecasters, in spite of the worth of the share market for funding, the mistrust of stockholders and their worries of entering their capital into this market caused a decline in liquidity and generating massive fluctuations in the share market.
