New crude blend to be launched by Adnoc
(MENAFN) Plans to launch Umm Lulu Crude Oil have been announced by The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc), which is a new crude blend produced from its Umm Lulu and Satah Al-Razboot (Sarb) fields, operated offshore by Adnoc.
With an expected API density of around 39 degrees and sulfur content of around 0.7 percent weight percent, Umm Lulu Crude Oil is a light crude, rich in light middle distillates with a low sulfur and metal content, the Emirates official news agency Wam reported.
The first exports of Umm Lulu Crude Oil are anticipated in Q1 2018, and production will increase gradually over the next five-year period.
