    Qatar's CPI sees 1.12 percent inflation decline

    (MENAFN) The Qatari Consumer Price Index (CPI) recorded a 1.12 percent decline in its inflation on September compared to August.

    The CPI inflation also registered a slight 0.38 percent drop in September compared to the same period last year.

    Recreation and culture posted a -6.61 percent fall, while transport dropped by -2.42 percent, housing, water, electricity and gas by -0.35 percent, restaurants and hotels by -0.15 percent, with furniture &household equipment slipping -0.04 percent.

    Meanwhile, Clothing and Footwear' saw a 2.2 percent boost, with Food and Beverages raising by 0.88 percent, Miscellaneous Goods and Services by 0.16 percent.

    The groups of Tobacco, Health, Communication, and Education also kept a flat rate at the price level.
