Qatari power firm inks major service deal
(MENAFN) Qatar's Ras Girtas Power Company (RGPC) and Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) Ltd. sealed a major service deal, QNA reported.
The 15-year deal was inked at a value of USD174.9 million, as confirmed Chairman of Ras Girtas Power Company, Mohammed Nasser Al Hajri.
The chairman noted that RGPC is already on a service agreement with Mitsubishi Hitachi, which is scheduled to expire in the first three months of next year.
Al Hajri affirmed that the agreement is to create tough and long-standing ties between the two major companies.
